Carl Cloos Schweißtechnik GmbH in Haiger and H&G Entsorgungssysteme GmbH in Burbach have enjoyed a trusting partnership for decades. At the heart of the new CLOOS system for the automated welding of screw compressors and machine housings for waste disposal systems is a six-axis QIROX QRC-410 welding robot. The robot is mounted on a rotating vertical stroke and has an arc sensor. The system consists of two stations, each equipped with a 1.5-ton workpiece positioner. The machine housings are welded at one station and the screw compressors at the other. The new CLOOS robot system significantly optimizes the efficiency and quality of welding production.
