Manual and automated welding technologies for individual customer solutions
Automated solutions facilitate the production process
The focus of the 130 square meter trade show booth was the new QIROX All-In-One compact welding system. Here, workpiece positioner, robot and robot positioner are mounted and aligned on a base plate for maximized efficiency. This allows a quick and cost-effective assembly because a fine adjustment is not necessary. In addition, the electrics and mechanics for the machines are pre-installed in full, making assembly and maintenance work simple and time-saving. The All-In-One-System ensures ideal accessibility as better welding positions can be reached. The user-friendly operation guarantees simple, precise and intuitive handling. The new systems are characterised by highest programming quality so that re-teaching is reduces to a minimum. The compact systems can be integrated into any form of production easily and space-saving. The modular design allows individual extensions and retrofits at any time.
Another highlight was the new fully automated current tip and gas nozzle changer SpareMatic which allows non-stop welding with operative components. When the welding robot needs new nozzles, the automatic current tip and gas nozzle changer comes into play. The changer takes the torch consumables and replaces them for new ones. This process runs automatically and does not require an operator. The integrated torch cleaner and measurement module guarantee perfect welding results with shorter production times. Due to its compact, modular design, the SpareMatic can be integrated into both new and existing systems.
A multitude of live demonstrations
The CLOOS process competence was at the forefront in welding and cutting of various ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Live demonstrations presented the wide range of processes for welding different materials of different thicknesses. Furthermore, trade visitors could experience the complete range of QINEO welding machines during manual demonstrations.
