CLOOS at SCHWEISSTEC 2013

New solutions for manual and automated welding

HAIGER/STUTTGART ? From 5th to 8th November 2013 the trade fair duo of Blechexpo and Schweisstec will place Stuttgart under the banner of industrial sheet metal processing and cutting and joining technologies.  In hall 7, booth Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH will present their versatile processes and new solutions for manual and automated welding. User-friendly welding machines, the new compact  QRH-280 welding robot and the further developed Tandem Weld process are in the focus.

User-friendly welding machines

In the range of the manual welding machines CLOOS will present numerous product innovations. The compact QINEO® GL302 Inverter for TIG DC welding supports the users in efficient and flexible welding. It is perfectly suitable for workshop and trade. The new infinitely adjustable mobile MIG/MAG welding machines QINEO MICRO 300 are easy to handle, flexible in use and powerful in performance. They are designed for precision work with high-quality results. The handy welding power sources can be quickly and easily installed by the welder on any welding or construction site, when repairing vehicles or for industrial use.

Due to the further development of the operating modules the user-friendliness is more and more focussed on. The new MasterPlus operating panel offers a very easy, quick and intuitive control of the QINEO power sources. Another innovation by CLOOS is the wireless operation of the welding power sources. The installation of the QINEO Data Manager software on a tablet PC allows central operation and monitoring of several power sources via a WLAN connection.

New 6 kg QRH 280 welding robot

For the automation sector CLOOS will present a new welding robot for loads of up to 6 kg. The small, light and highly dynamic robot is perfectly suitable for the CLOOS cell solutions. Thanks to the lower mass and smaller lever arm the robot achieves higher speed and thus a better positioning accuracy. The compact design saves production area and guarantees a very good accessibility to fixtures. This is particularly advantageous for customers in the automotive and electrical industry and medical engineering because they often dispose of a limited production area.
