CLOOS at the WIN Metal Working

HAIGER/ISTANBUL – From 15 to 18 March 2018 the WIN Metal Working exhibition will take place in Istanbul, Turkey. In hall 12, booth C 140 Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH will present a wide range of innovative solutions for manual and automated welding. The special strength of CLOOS is the widely spread competence. Because – from the welding technology, robot mechanics and controller to positioners, software and sensors – CLOOS supplies everything from a single source.

The exhibition visitors can expect a multitude of new products and innovations for a quicker, more economic and more flexible welding production. The focus of the exhibition booth is on the new QIROX QRC-290 welding robot. Together with the QINEO QinTron welding power source and the compact QIROX Controller QC 2 Micro, the new welding robot offers an easy entry into automated welding. With the QIROX robots, positioners and special purpose machines CLOOS develops and manufactures automated welding systems meeting the specific requirements of the customers. The portfolio comprises simple, compact systems as well as complex, chained systems with automated workpiece identification and loading and unloading processes.

Other highlights are the new controller and the new programming surface for the QIROX robots. They offer an even more user-friendly, intuitive operation, a considerable reduction of the programming times and a very dynamic movement of robots for efficient welding.

With QINEO NexT, CLOOS will present a new generation of high-tech MIG/MAG welding power sources. The modular design allows many applications from the basic welding machine for manual welding to the multiprocess welding machine for automated robot welding.

Furthermore, CLOOS will show new and proven welding processes for maximum productivity and quality. So, CLOOS will present MoTion Weld, a new process family  for automated MIG/MAG welding. Due to the controllable heat input into the workpiece and the minimised spatter formation at high welding speeds the new process is particularly suitable for thin plate applications.
