Stores Person

 

We are looking for an experienced Stores Person to work at our Cannock facility, in Staffordshire.

The Stores function is a key function within the business and is pivotal to ensuring the client receives the correct parts within a specific time line. The role will enable the safekeeping and stocking of materials, their receipts, issues, and accounting with the objective of efficiently and economically providing the right parts at the right time to the large UK and Ireland customer base.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory management
  • Ordering parts from parent company
  • Receipt and issue of goods
  • Perpetual inventory checks
  • Identification of stock shortages to the customer

Essential Requirements:

  • Self-motivated individual who works well alone and part of a team
  • Methodical and well organised
  • Background in stock ordering/management
  • Good standard of Maths and English (GSCE Grade C and above)
  • Good communication skills both written and spoken English
  • Proficient computer skills including email, Microsoft office and database packages
  • FLT License
  • Engineering background (mechanical or electrical)
  • Previous inventory/warehouse experience
