Complex production line for high-tech tractor cabs
Fendt is the high-tech brand within the AGCO corporation which is one of the biggest manufacturers and suppliers of tractors and agricultural machinery in the world. The company depends on the technologies of Carl CLOOS Schweisstechnik GmbH for welding the safety cabs for its tractors. The welding station consists of two 7-axis robots mounted to a vertical stroke.and equipped with a torch changing system each. Control Weld ensures a low-spatter welding process without extensive reworks. After a tool change the threaded bolts for the later assembly of the electrical cables are welded. The workpiece positioner with horizontal rotation brings the the cab in a perfect welding position. The floor-mounted linear track serves for an automated loading o the welding station.
