Modern welding technology for growth market

HAIGER/MUMBAI –  More than of 10,600 trade visitors came to visit the India Welding & Cutting in Mumbai  from 28th to 30th October 2014 to find out about modern joining, cutting and surfacing technologies. Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH presented the growing future market their versatile solutions for manual and automated welding.

The focus of the exhibition booth was on the manual welding machines. Trade visitors could experience the QINEO machine series during live-demonstrations.

With high-tech products for manual and automated welding as well as innovative welding processes Cloos will clearly stand out against the competition. Furthermore, the company wants to grow and develop new markets Therefore, Cloos developed a completely new generation of inverter welding machines in co-operation with the Chinese partner Shenzhen Riland Industry. A robust design, ideal ignition and welding characteristics and an excellent price/performance ratio are the main features of the Qintron.

The new product line cannot yet be found in the premium portfolio of CLOOS or in the RILAND program and is mainly addressed to growth markets such as India. The country is one of the most important regions for steel production and one of the world's 10 largest steel processors and consumers. Cloos benefits from the strong economic growth and has been represented in India with an own subsidiary since 2011. JCB India and Caterpillar belong to the most important customers of the Indian market.
