Simple, fast and reliable

HAIGER/BAD WÖRISHOFEN – The demands on manual welding are growing continuously: the welding process must not only be carried out ever faster, but also with ever increasing quality. In addition, users require simple and intuitive operation. For this reason, Häwa GmbH recently invested in four new TIG welding machines from CLOOS at its site in Bad Wörishofen.

As a manufacturer of electrical enclosures, control cabinets and other housing solutions for the installation of electrical components, Häwa GmbH relies on individual and flexible solutions in sheet steel, stainless steel and aluminium. At its three locations in Southern Germany, more than 400 employees produce around 70,000 large cabinets and 120,000 enclosures each year. At the same time, its customers worldwide are supported on the spot by branch offices and local partners. "Our customers especially value our high product quality and comprehensive service," says Lutz Georgi, plant manager for stainless steel production at the Bad Wörishofen site. The company's production of sheet metal is concentrated here, employing around 60 workers.

Four new TIG welding machines
Häwa has been growing continuously for many years. As a result, this year Häwa began extensive building and conversion work in Bad Wörishofen to create more space and improve its internal material flow. Consequently, the company recently upgraded 14 of its manual welding workstations to ensure they meet the latest technical standards. Four new TIG welding machines by CLOOS have been in use since the beginning of June. With the QINEO GLW 302, the employees can now weld a wide range of different components. The compact, water-cooled machines are equipped with a trolley for flexible use in the production hall.
