Korean entrepreneurs visited the welding specialists in Haiger

At the end of November Carl Cloos Schweisstechnik GmbH welcomed about 25 entrepreneurs from Korea for a company visit in the Haiger premises. The visitors got an idea of the innovative technologies of the welding specialist.

The day started with an official welcome and a presentation in the CLOOS training centre. Here, the interested visitors found out more about the development and the product portfolio of the long-established company. The group was particularly interested in the CLOOS apprenticeship concept. Furthermore, the latest research and development projects were on the agenda.

The subsequent tour of the production technology gave a comprehensive insight in the news and trends of manual and automated welding. The participants could experience the technologies during live-demonstrations. After the group had then lunch together, a final discussion rounded the day.

Every year the Korea Association of University, Research Institute and Industry (AURI) organises this round trip. The participants visited companies all over Germany and got informed about their production processes, new technical developments and management systems.
